Seasonal Allergies

Allergies although more prominent in the Spring and Summer can have an affect on your pets year around. Know some signs to look out for and remedies to soothe your furry friends. Flea collars are also good for a few months at a time, putting one on can help reduce your dog being bitten and being uncomfortable with all the itchiness. Contact your vet for a flea collar if your local pet store doesn't carry them.



Warning Signs that your dog may be reacting to allergies:

  • Itchy, red, moist or scabbed skin.

  • Increased scratching.

  • Itchy, runny eyes.

  • Itchy back or base of tail (most commonly flea allergy)

  • Itchy ears and ear infections.

  • Sneezing.

  • Vomiting.

  • Diarrhea.

Easy Remedies to Help your Furry Friends

  1. Oat Baths.

  2. Aloe Vera.

  3. Thyme.

  4. Chickweed Gel.

  5. Apple Cider Vinegar.

  6. Coconut Oil.
